Greetings!
I am originally from Lebanon, Va. I made my way down to Harnett County in 2010 to play football at Campbell University. I played for the Camels for 5 years, while earning a bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sports Science and started a master's degree in Physical Education. After my last year of eligibility, I became a Trojan and began teaching and coaching at Harnett Central High School. While working at HCHS I finished my Master of Education - Physical Education degree and then returned to Campbell University for a Master of School Administration degree.
My first 6 years at HCHS were as a Physical Education teacher, while also coaching football, basketball, and baseball. This past year, I had the opportunity to step into an assistant principal position - working specifically with the freshman class.
I spend my free time running, hiking, exploring, and love trying new restaurants. What excites me the most about coming to Triton High School is the opportunity to meet you all and build new relationships. I hope to help each of you grow and to see everyone at THS flourish.- AP Mr. L. Smith
